The Derbyshire Guild was established in 1977 by a group who wanted to keep alive the traditional crafts of handweaving, spinning and dyeing. To do this we demonstrate our skills at various events and meet twice a month to share our ideas and learn new skills.
We meet on the second Saturday of the month and the last Friday of the month. Saturday meetings are held at Hazelwood Village Hall, Hazelwood, Derbyshire. 10am to 4pm and the Friday meetings are at The community centre in Mickleover,Derbyshire. 7.30pm to 9.30pm. New members are always welcome.
